As we approach the month of November, the colder weather is surely on its way.  These tips below will help you stay warm and cozy, while saving energy and money in your home

  1. Gutters and Drainage Systems:  All the leaves and grime have built up in your gutters and if left full of debris, clogged gutters and drains can form ice dams that prevent your drainage systems from working properly. This can lead to water seeping into your home.
  2. Keep Cold Air Out:  Caulking to seal cracks and openings between door frames and weather stripping to seal components like an operable window will help keep the cold air out.
  3. Show Some TLC To Your Furnace:  During the fall and winter seasons, be sure to change your furnace filter regularly; a dirty filter will decrease air flow and energy-efficiency. Get a Tune Up on your furnace to be sure it is running properly.
